Gday fellas, Im after a bit of advise and perhaps a few pics...

I have a gap crusader with a 56mm nf scope that i find to be entirely too cumbersome and heavy for my purposes. 90% of the shooting i do is either offhand or leaning (off the hood of a truck etc), and realisticly between 100 - 300 meters. I want the capability of stretching it to around 600 if i need to (its a 308).

I'm set on a manners t2a. Do you think the adjustability is necessary with a low profile scope? Im going with a mark 4 3.5-10x40 with metric turrets. Should i be after a t2 instead?

My other question is regards to barrel length. Will a 19" m24 contour cut it? Does anyone have a picture of t2 with a 18-20" barrel? I wanna make sure it doesnt look too dicky, and is still usable.

Cheers fellas

Here's a T2 with a 17" barrel:

was shooting a t2, ordered up the EH1 in the group buy and am digging it pretty well now so it may be worth looking into for ya. If you are worried about a heavy rifle skip the t2a. I use the triad stock pack, no problem with cheek weld and you have a place to store lil' items you may need

Cheers fellas. Yeah i might go the t2 depending on whats immediately available. Always slim pickings here in australia with anything like this...
