Kicking Ass Somewhere
The lever on the bolt is rubbing up against the front part of the slot, it appears to be locking in as I can still pull the trigger. Its a brand new fluted barreled 700 stainless, it has the new Timney Calvin trigger installed. Is this a common issue that is cured by sand paper or could something else be going on, both stock and action are brand new.

Hey Jerry, We don't want any part of the bolt hitting/rubbing on the stock. I also want to make sure that the Calvin trigger is not rubbing. Send me a PM with your contact info and I will get you squared away asap.
Thank you

I have a MCS T2A on order and I requested in my order form to add a little extra space in the slot where the 700 bolt handle will sit. I found on the test stocks I got from Manners that the slot area was tight, but these folks are outstanding to work with and talk to, so no doubt Mr. Tom will take of this.

Tom, sending you a PM, but I have to say its so close that I think a bit of sand paper will take care of it. This is my first manners and I am suprised how light it is and how the palm swell fits my hand with the drop. I like this stock.

Yet another Reason to own a Manners stock !! Tom and crew are great people !

Very much so. Sometimes I wish I had more money to buy another manners not so much for me but just to give the guy more business.

Anyways my 700 had some contact at the bottom where the bolt just barely didn't close. Little bit of sand took care of it. They also sent me some dura coat to cover it up.

t i thought was the lever rubbing the front actually turns out it was rubbing the rear of the slot. took a file and it is cycling normal now. image.jpg

I will saimage.jpgy thimage.jpgis is a light stock, feels good in hand, I might take this action out and put my lri built mtu 260 rem in it.

Now that's some customer service for you. I'm impressed!

My t3 I got from them a few weeks ago does, or did it as well. So close I didn't even bother to contact them about it. A few passes with a file and it's all fine. Was just gel coat I think, no aluminum for sure though.
