SH "WHAT BUGS ME" RIMFIRE COMPETITON RULES

Printable Targets - SH Short Range Rimfire Competitions Set up as the same dimensions as any of the targets that are commercially available, to be used with 8.5" x 11" printer paper, and to use minimal ink. For the 4P 5 bull target, a portion of the edge can be folded and matched / stapled / taped to the other side - essentially making one large target.

Scores of all three short range competitions will be posted in the same thread. If you shoot more than one competition, please use different posts (one for each). At the end of the month, scores and rankings from both competitions will be posted as seperate events.

I am going to try and shoot the 50y tac, this Saturday by posting it under the 50 yard target for my local ranges rimfire comp. lol

Score: Not sure how to score it but i think 90/250

I shot this while shooting my local rimfire comps targets. So i basically had to shoot 50+ rounds in the time everyone else shot 20. lol So i was a little rushed. Learned a lot and look forward to trying it again.

GotCox - the picture is kind of blurry, but if I were scoring your target, it looks to me like:

Stage 1 - if it broke the line, +10 (benefit of the doubt)
Stage 2 - 10 hits @ 5pts each = +50
Stage 3 - 5 hits in the circle (two breaking the line) @ 10pts each = +50
Stage 4 - hit outside a circle = 0 for the stage
Stage 5 - one bad guy's eye box + 20pts, and two no shoots hit for -20pts each = -20 net.

Total: 90

Cool i wasn't sure if on the numbers it meant you had to break the number or get it in the correct number box. I think that is where our scoring is diff. If 5 points for getting in the number box then ya 90 it would be. If you have to hit/break the number in the box then 60.

All you have to do is break the line on the number box, unless I'm reading the scoring rules (link from TopPredator's post) wrong.

Well, I tried the tactical target from the bench again this morning. Embarrassingly bad. Aggregate point total was positive this time (as opposed to the negative total last time), but I definitely need more practice, and probably better ammo.

I also did the 25yd 4psn again.

This was a very fun and informative target to shoot. I got one bee head shot, but i don't know what the bonus for that is so the score doesn't show it. I wish i could do my rifle justice on this target as it shoots so much better than i am able to shoot it at this point. Once the range isn't covered with mud and rain i will get prone and see if i can get my skill level up.
