I have had this rifle for 20 years or so. It has been a good squirrel and rabbit killer. I been reading the 22 long range thread and thought I would down load a target or two and see how it does at 100 yards. I usually bring it to the range when I am working loads for other rifles and have shot steel out to 250 using Kentucky windage. So yesterday I swapped scopes on it for a Tasco 3x9x40 and zeroed at 100. Today I shot two 25 strings with it. It was not bad other than the trigger. Is there anything that can be done to it to reduce the pull weight? Shooting off a bench with bags front and rear using the Winchester 555 bulk box of 36 gr hollow points. 7 mph wind from 3 to 9. I shot a 235 7x and a 222 6x. I think a little less trigger and some learning the wind with these little bullets it will be fun to play with. Any help would be appreciated.
