Have a Camp 9 with original sights, they suck. The reciever has 4 drilled and tapped holes. This is a plinking gun will most likely never be shot passed 100 yds. Budget for this is $200. Any suggestions for an inexpensive optic, or other open sights.

I have Talley 2 piece scope mounts with integral rings on mine. I like them for $47 from MidwayUSA. (Part number 930336). The Camp 9 has the same hole spacing as the Marlin 336, so you SHOULD be able to use anything that fits a 336. I have a Leupold fixed 4x scope mounted up that works very nice, but there are tons of good options for plinking under $150 to keep you under your budget.
