Scored this for $80.00 at a local pawn shop. After a day of cleaning it cycled flawlessly, CCI .40 gr. Knowing it was a decent shooter I went with Warne rings and an inexpensive Vortex Diamondback, HP 2-8 x 32 and sighted in @ 50 yards, CCI 36 gr hp. I've had a few .22's never put a decent scope on any of them or shot them past 50. I've shot this one at 100 and was surprised. Must be this longer barrel and a half way decent scope. Full length tube holds 18.

Since it holds 18, then it's an earlier model (pre-mid 80s). A friend of mine bought one exactly like it and has been thrilled with it. He brought it over earlier today to clean it again. Funny thing, we both bought used Model 60s 1 day apart even though we'd never discussed that model before. Mine is one of the new stainless models. The only advantage mine has that he wished the older model had is the bright orange front sight. But he's not be willing to give that up for the 3 extra rounds and longer sight radius. I put a Nikon 22 scope on my model 60 but opted for peep rings so I could still use the iron sights.

This one was made in '88. It has a 60 year anniversary medallion on the butt stock. The scope I put on it was in my safe for a couple of years, a Vortex Diamondback HP, 2-8 x 32. The 32mm obj looks good on the small bore. This thing shoots fantastic. I'm gonna try some head shots on hogs.

I had one of these since I was a kid. It's all black and has a squirrel on the but stock. Was a pretty damn good shooter for years. Kill a ton of tree rats with it as a kid. Ended up and the barrel came loose on it for some reason and I never investigated why. Bought a savage mk2 and then went on to a cz452.

I need to get it out and rekindle the love
