Marlin XT-22 Magazine

So I just purchased a Marlin XT-22 but haven't gotten a chance to shoot it yet. I am looking for a 10-round magazine for it, preferably blued, but am having trouble finding one. I called Marlin and they said they don't currently make a 10-round magazine for the new XT-22s. Does anyone know of a compatible one that I could use?

I'm taking it out for the first time tomorrow, I can't wait! It's my first firearm so hopefully the new Marlins will hold up to their reputation.

I don't have the new XT but my 925 mags are compatible with the 795. This may be true for the new XT rifles as well. If that is the case you can get a 10 round stainless mag (haven't seen them in blue) for the 795.

Does anyone know if the 925 magazines are compatible with the new XT rifles? I may be able to check with Marlin, if I find out before someone posts I will post the answer.

From what I understand Marlin has kept their magazines pretty standardized across their bolt action line since 1988. I just picked up an XT-22RZ and these 10 round mags worked just fine.

They only seem to be available in nickel plate, but some light grit sand paper and a can of spray paint, (maybe a primer coat if you're high speed low drag) should make short work of that.
