Boxing was in mourning on Saturday night after the shock early death of one its all-time greats, Marvin Hagler, at just 66. Hagler was floored officially only once in his incredible brutal career.

I remember watching the fight with hearns when I was a kid. Still one of my favorite fights of all time. Didn't go long, but damn it was entertaining!

What a shame. Loved Hagler. Also, I thought he won that fight with Sugar Ray Leonard. But he did alright afterwards. He went to Italy and became a movie star over there or something. Anybody else remember his Pizza Hut commercial?

I remember reading a story about him growing up where he came home with a black eye and bloody lip as a kid, and his Mom wouldn't let him come back into the house until he went back and beat up the kid who had hurt him.

Tough guy. RIP.

Hagler was a class act! And yes, he beat Ray Leonard hands down. He was robbed and Leonard knows it. RIP Marvelous Marvin Hagler. You were one helluva fighter!

I remember running home from school in the rain, to watch his fight with The HitMan.
