I can see someone taking this up to the US Supreme Court. So far, nothing but crickets from the NRA. The GOA has already come out with strong condemnation against this overreach.

Cliff notes is that just about all semi autos will be banned. And because of the idiots in charge, in 90 days no sales of any long guns because they re-defined a firearm. all firearms sold need to be on an approved roster. But there is no approved roster for long guns and no testing methods to get them on an approved roster.

The goal was semi auto rifles. basically to try and ban "assault weapons"
semi-auto handguns that are on the approved roster are still ok. Well, some semi auto handguns on the roster. LOL Because Glocks have been on the approved roster for years, but years ago the AG said that they weren't safe. So as a Consumer Protection act she shadow banned them and said no dealers were allowed to sell them even though they passed the firearms safety testing to get on the approved roster. Seriously, you can't make this stuff up.
I'd have to go back and read it again, but I think anyone under 21 can't have any semi autos. And they either have to sell them or surrender them.
And as I mentioned, since they redefined what a firearm is... unless they change the law or create an approved roster for long guns, no long guns at all after 90 days. LOL.
I also think some of it will get reversed. it's so poorly written that it will get challenged and they'll reverse their position on things.
But for the real start of it was to ban AR's, so that part will stay. I think it got so convoluted because people kept pointing out how dumb the law was written and pointing out all the loop holes. So they just kept tacking on to it to try and cover any possible way to ban AR's.
