Hey all, just had to share this with everyone.
I bought a Matt Burkett offset mount to use with my P308 and Doctor Optic. It showed up and I ran down to the gun room to throw it all together. The mount affixed to the gun well and the construction was very sturdy, especially the protective wings for the optic. However, when I went to put the Doctor on, I stripped the screw holes in the mount.
I was a little miffed that I spent a bunch of money and waited 2 weeks for this mount and then had it break like that!
So, I went onto Matt Burkett's website and sent in a message telling what happened. Not 30 mins later, my phone rings. It's Matt Burkett. I"m like Holy F#&^ that was a fast reply and I got Matt Burkett himself on the phone! Wow!
So I explain what happened again and he asks if I used the screws that came with the Doctor Optic or the ones that came in the kit. I tell him I used the ones that came with the optic. He then informs me that those are metric (should have known, the box was all in German) and his mount uses Imp, hence it includes the screws I need. He tells me, no worries, I"m heading to SHOT on Sunday, so if you send me your address tonight, I'll get you a new mount out tomorrow.
So, needless to say, I am FLABBERGASTED at the awesomeness of Matt Burkett's customer service, and the mount, untill I broke it cause I'm an idiot... I don't know what else to say, but I will feel completely confident buying from him again!
