I LOVED SNL. But they've just totally fucking ruined it now. They can't do a damn skit without it being political, and even though they did political skits in the past, they weren't always done with so much hate. And it was funny. Like Carvey doing Bush. You couldn't tell if Carvey hated him or not! He left that up to you and focused on the joke. Also, now they use the cast like extras and have all these A-list assholes sucking up the air.

Can't believe I'm saying it, but maybe it's time to cancel it. If they can't get another crew in there like they did in the 90's and totally reboot the show, then it needs to go. I just can't stand watching it anymore and none of it's funny. At all. And I'm not the only one saying this either, much of the old cast is against it now too.

That kinda makes sense, it does appeal to people more in that age group. Maybe that's why Jerry doesn't like the 90's. They did have a bad cast to begin with, that was when they cleaned house. The second half of the 90's was awesome and they had a strong cast into the 2000's before it started to fall apart again.

They need to clean house, new writers and mostly a new crew. Too late now though, they just started another horrible season. FWIW, they did get their politics confirmed by the present audience, who booed West when he started to say a bunch of pro Trump shit. But why does it have to be political? All the fucking time? Just sick of it, and I'm not the only one by far.

I was in H/S when they had the first season. It was new, different, fresh and the talent was good. It was a lot of fun back then. We made a point of staying up for the entire show. Making a long opinion short, they've milked that cow to the point where the last drop of milk was taken many years ago. I doubt I've watched even one episode in the last 25 years. As time goes on, there is less and less that television and Hollywood have to offer. I'm really paring back and not watching any of it. As time goes on, I'm concluding I'm not missing anything.

Nothing Matt Commi gets played in this house . When he came out against guns he checked out of Casa Del Treedog permanently . I wouldn't piss on that prick if he were on fire . Well maybe if my piss' alchohol content were high enough to burn .

SNL has been garbage since Forte, Wiig, Hader, Sudeikis, etc left. That was a decent cast, and the last time that anyone, regardless of political leaning, could enjoy SNL. Now I can’t imagine anyone but rabid liberals could enjoy it. Nothing but preachy millennial twats. Judging by the ‘talent’, nobody worth a shit wants to be on the show anymore anyway.

I remember when Michaels came under fire because the show had no black women in it, so they went out and got one even tho she was funny as a brick.

It’s too bad. It was always liberal and political but they turned it into a propaganda machine.

Watched some snl on YouTube out of curiosity. What a fucking embarrassment to comedy. Black jeopardy was a kind of funny, but the seven other skits were beyond stupid, and stupid is usually funny to me.

Just for example someone drowned in their yard the other day. This came to mind.
