Want to get some real world experience on these two spotting scopes only. I already know swaro is better, etc. Anyone out there have personal experience with these two spotters? Whats your pick and why? Thanks

Yeah, I saw that on their website and think that is a good way to see first hand what they are like. I am mostly curious at this point, what other peoples experiences have been with either or both. Thanks @birddog624 for the feedback on PRS usage. I forgot to mention that these will be mainly used for hunting. The maven interested me mainly because of its weight as I will be packing them in on some hunts

I ran a small Bausch & Lomb Bushnell spotter for hunting for years. Mostly because I was hunting from my horse and he carried them around for me.

They definitely don't replace binos. 99% of glassing is done with those. The field of view is much greater with binos, and they are far more comfortable to spend time behind. Once you've spotted something, the scope is fantastic for getting a really good look at them. Judging trophy quality etc.

Under the hunting versus competition criteria I would say the Razor would treat you great. I have had the big 60x for years now, and they are a very good spotting scope for the money.
