NEW SHOOTERS WELCOME!!!

Doesn't cost anything, for fun and bragging rights, and we share beneficial information learned each month.

This is the monthly thread for posting scores for our monthly
SH MONTHLY RIMFIRE 25 & 50yd 4 POSITION COMPETITION
SH MONTHLY 50yd TACTICAL RIMFIRE COMPETITION
SH "WHAT BUGS ME" RIMFIRE COMPETITON

Try out the "Support Side" option for a twist in practice / training.

Please view the guidelines & rules for all the Short Range Competitions here:
http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/showthread.php?t=174882

Click link for Printable Targets:
http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/showthread.php?t=174855&p=2342454#post2342454
The targets are set up to be the same dimensions as any of the targets that are commercially available, to be used with 8.5" x 11"; printer paper, and to use minimal ink. For the 4P 5 bull target, a portion of the edge can be folded and matched / stapled / taped to the other side - essentially making one large target.

Scores of all the short range competitions will sorted by the type of competition, distance, caliber, and sighting device used and compiled at month's end. Scores found in error can be corrected by the origninal creator of that month's thread.

A good source of tips, tricks, what worked, what didn't, rifle / ammo performance, thoughts, etc. Link:

SHOOTERS:

For this month, and for the first time, a fellow hider that makes a line ofholsters, J.ROTH HYBRID HOLSTERS
www.rothholsters.com has graciously stepped up to theplate to put up a holster as a prize to the winner of this month's 50YDP TRCmatch, to be shot from the PRONE position.

We've always used the honor system, and with something of value up for grabs, Ihope this remains true this month.
As there is only 1 prize:
1) any rimfirecaliber, scoped or non scoped, your choice, BUT TO BE SHOT FROM PRONE POSITION.
2) A PHOTO OF YOUR TARGET MUST ACCOMPANY YOUR SCORE POSTING.
4) 1 SCORE TO BE POSTED PER SHOOTER
5) any score posted after midnight EST 31 May 13 will not be counted for theholster.
6) The Hide and/or TOP PREDATOR are not responsible for any transactionsassociated with the ordering, payment, or delivery of this prize. Contact belowdirectly after a winner is determined and intial PM contacting of both thewinner and the supplier is made.
7) TOP PREDATOR or the maker of these holsters are prohibited from winning theprize, and if by chance one or the other are the winner, they relinquish claimto the prize.

Happy shooting and good luck!
Per a PM I've received:

"I've recently started making hybrid leather-kydex IWB concealmentholsters and figured in exchange for the information gleaned from here and theeffort that everyone else has invested providing targets and keeping track ofthe results, I could (should) give something back.

So, I'd be glad to provide a holster to any of the winners, however you seefit. I'm a relatively new maker and have a limited but growing inventory ofweapons that I can make. But, if the monthly winner has a glock or Kahr (amongothers) I'd be in to ship one as a prize.

I guess we could just direct the winner to my website to pick what they wanted,or they could contact me directly if they wanted something custom or that Idon't list (ex: I could make a kydex cheek riser in one of the camo's or carbonfiber if they didn't want a holster).

You can view his website here:
www.rothholsters.com

My ebay feedback can be viewed
here

And here is a sample of one of my holsters:

TP, just shot The May 50 yd Tactical match.
Savage TRR-SR with AAC Pilot
Wolf ME
Stage 1 10 points
Stage 2. 45 points
Stage 3. 40 points (possibly 45)
Stage 4 0 points
Stage 5. 0 points, nicked a hostage
Total, sorry to say is 95 points
If you need a picture, PM me an email or cell, I'll send it to you.

hammertime, done in the prone position?

Figured the ongoing ammo situation may reduce participation, as you are the only shooter this month, looks like you are the winner of the holster. i'll PM you with the contact info for it.

A BIG thanks to J.Roth Holsters for putting up a prize, give them a look at http://www.jrothholsters.com

The owner is also a Hide member.

PM sent back, i should have read the thread first...

That's why I love the Hide so much...IMO talk about two upstanding guys; one putting up a prize and another deferring it for a more sporting way of acquiring it. You sirs are a credit to us all.

With this in mind, we'll defer the prize (also makes a great Father's day gift ;P ) to June. Again, bravo gentlemen.

Just wondering if I can use my PCP - MRod for these competitions? I suppose it's not that fair as I can thread a small washer at 50 yards with a PCP, but thought I'd ask anyway.

I think I'm going to shoot our local rimfire match with my Royale, that being said the PCP blows 3 times more in the wind compared to the 22rf, be a challenge though.
