All but the most brainwashed or indoctrinated know gun control doesn't work, but what they say in public and what they admit to in private are two different things. They're just propagating the company line and following their marching orders like the good democrats they are

Banning guns will solve the crime problem RIGHT NOW, just the same way that banning drugs completely eliminated the drug problem way back in the 60's.

They may want to think about addressing this problem before encroaching on legitimate, law abiding gun owners rights. Not sure where this is but could easily be St. Louis.
