Installed a CMC single stage trigger on this rifle today. Won't get to range test it until the weather lets up, but am impressed so far. Installation is easy, let-off is clean and consistent, between 3 and 3.5 lbs. (I use weights, so can't narrow it down). I had installed one earlier this year in a Colt HBAR. This one is different. Stainless housing and small socket-head pin retaining screws instead of the E-clips. Also less overtravel. The safety selector functioned perfectly, as did the one in the HBAR.
I haven't tried the Geissele, Timney, or the new Jewell, but this one is a good trigger at a good price.
I believe the rifle can go m.o.a. or better with this trigger. Orders of magnitude better than the nasty shotgun trigger that it came with.
With a green laser projector, it illuminates a target well enough to take aimed shots using the scope reticle. The rifle should be good on nocturnal hogs.
Good shooting,
Tom
