Man I regret not getting desert camo soemtimes. All we have here in Prescott Valley is rolling grass hills... Tan grass... no green.

I just got my Stock last week from john Wall,still will be a couple of months until I get it painted,waiting to do my new barrel until after Deer season,will be doing the scope and rings in cerakote as well.
Looking at these nice rigs really has me motivated to git'r done!

I don't even know why I'm asking this,since I'm going to do it anyway,but,does a high quality finish such as Cerakote done professionally,markings highlighted,destroy the value of a scope such as an NXS,USO,or MK4 ? My rifle looks just like ejd049 before he painted it.I just think mine will look better with all the metal painted,bipod,scope,rings,DBM and mags.

I am going to be sending my Desert Tac SRS 338LM to Jeromy
(Dimensions) after deer season. I ordered the chassis in Tan. I am debating what to do with it, but am thinking of having him do the railed forend in desert multi cam and then doing some of his custom airbrush magic as it gets toward the rear of the stock.
Just cant decide if I want to use GAP camo or Desert. I really like both, but havent done anything in desert yet because it just isnt really practical where I am.
All these rifles look great.

There isn't any desert here in Florida, but on a sunny day, the desert is much cooler on the cheek.

I'll keep that in mind Northland. Color mix is 34% Olive, 33% Light Tan, 33% Dark Tan.
