I have a McMillan A5a short action stock. It has not been bedded or used. The barrel channel I believe is medium Palma. The inlet is for a defiance action. Will also come with a Badger m5 bottom metal, and a KMW Munster EFR with 2 side accessory rails.

Is the Badger M-5 bottom metal the same fit as the Surgeon bottom metal? What value do you put on the Badger M-5 bottom metal and 2 AI magazines ? Is the inlet for a defiance action the same as a Rem 700 action?

I don’t think the inlet is the same for a surgeon bottom metal however I believe they are similar, but not a perfect fit. I could be wrong though. The inlet is the same for a rem700 however the ejection port is slightly larger on the defiance and may not line up. I will not personally give separate values because I don’t intend on selling separately. However the Badger m5 usually sells for around $200 and the EFR around $250 or so used. So that means the stock it self is a reasonable price at $525.

Thank you or your quick reply. Your prices are fair. I already have the Surgeon bottom metal, so I will have to keep looking for a McMillan A5a with a Remington 700 inlet.
