So I wanted to do some work on my .223 bolt Rem. Got a trigger a bit ago and since the stock was coming off figured I'd go with some decent upgrade to save weight. I'm not a chassis fan, so I wanted a "regular" rifle stock. McMillan seemed to have a decent selection and pricing wasn't too bad. The weight of the Edge fill versions is quite something one needs to experience themselves. So the Game Warden in Edge fill with GAP transition showed up.....OMG. It feels like I'm holding a bag of popcorn it's SO f-n light. It scales in at 27 oz. I'm not really digging the darker color of the GAP. I figured it would have a tad more pattern to it, but that is easily fixed if needed. I like it overall. Can't wait to get it trimmed up with the action, maybe some fresh Aluma-Hyde to make it snap.
