Got back my 40x from Jelrod a couple days ago and couldn't be happier. I opted for a full build and the work/communication is top notch. Gonna be contacting Ravage for more mags!

22" Benchmark mtu contour barrel threaded with seamless muzzle cap.
McMillan A3-5 stock bedded.
Badger M5 bottom metal, EFR rail, and rings.
oversized recoil lug and 20 minute rail.
CG extreme 2 stage trigger.
Schmidt and Bender PM2 4-16x50.
Horus cosine/level.
Cerakoted green and black.

Dittos on Jelrod's work. I sent him my old 722-style 40X several months back, then re-barreled it with a Benchmark 3-groove 1-16.5tw in their heavy sendero contour, and finished it at 26" when I got it back from him. Wish I'd have sent it complete with the OEM std wt bbl so he could've done the extractor/holder tuning, but since I sent just the action, he did the minimum amount of work on those parts, and spent quite a bit of time over the phone on his dime explaining what I'd probably wind up having to do to get it to both feed & extract/eject smoothly & reliably. Great guy to work with, very helpful & generous with his time, even though it was my poor planning in not seeing the need to send the bbl along so he could do that work correctly.

Have agreed to sell my Stiller 2500XR repeater to a friend & customer so I can swing the conversion on my only remaining 40XB, and am looking forward to getting it sent to him & getting it back. Now that I've had the chance to really enjoy the 1st 40X repeater, it gives me an enhanced anticipation of getting this one done, then up & running. Haven't made the final choice between sending Jelrod the Lilja tite-bore blank I have on hand, or waiting on a couple of Krieger blanks I've ordered, or checking with him to see what he's got left in the way of Krieger blanks.

That is awesome! Mine should be making its way home this week (conversion only). I cannot wait! I may have to take it to the Gas Gun Match this weekend to get some trigger time.

Jonathan has done four 40X repeater conversions for me. I did extensive before/after accuracy comparisons and all rifles came right back to the same level of accuracy. I am beyond happy with the quality of work, communication and timeline of his work. He is a man among men.
