I have a question for anyone who has the MDT ACC chassis for the CZ 457
I have the dip extended mag release, is the MDT mag release longer. Thank you
Michael

I just posted about replacing my plastic magwell and magazine block.......not sure it was due to the extended mag release that caused the failure, but I went from the DIP to the Anarchy Outdoors Gen 2 version as it's wider and much easier to operate.

Fits perfect in my ACC.

BUT, if you add a +3 mag extension like all competitors do, not even JD's fix may work and you will end up asking a buddy to machine out that front part like I did and ruin a $1,400 chassis...Something MDT should have considered but did not...A HORRIBLY ENGINEERED PRODUCT that leaves us shooters/customers to our own devices to solve.

Do not use the mag extensions with the MDT ACC. On my Manners they work great. On the ACC......they would need to be machined like 4GG states above.

They should at least have a service for us to send them in to remove the area in front of the magwell. They did go the extra step in the feeding area though.

I rather they should come from the factory like this........I'd like to see someone offer this service.

Yep, I've seen that option as well...my only concern was with the bag "creeping" into the cutout, but I don't think that would be a big issue. Nice work by the way!

Just to be clear this isn't mine and whoever did the work, did a great job. I don't think the bag creep would be a concern.
