MDT LSS Gen 3 Just released

MDT just released their LSS Gen 3 chassis. I don't see any of the carbon buttstock and forend options. Hopefully they come out soon.

Cool system, but I feel like this is going to be a hard sell when the ACC premier is in a similar price bracket depending how on options.

Agreed. I’m guessing they’re going to phase out some other chassis and replace them with the LSS. It appeals to me for a switch rifle build on a terminus Zeus action. With a buttstock and forend change I could have a target and hunting rifle in one.

I think this will outsell the premier. My Gen 1 just lost value.

I’m a lone peak guy, but when I saw this my first thought was of the Zeus. That would be a slick setup to go PRS to NRLH without ever having to remove the action from the base. Lots of screwing and unscrewing though

I talked with them on Friday and they are discontinuing most of the line. I am having a problem with my ESS forearm clearing the new barrel and was told sorry buy the new chassis and that will fix your problem. I am looking at a different chassis company.

Just trying to understand this.. so you ordered a barrel that doesn't fit the ESS, and you are saying MDT is to blame?

No I am saying that I figure out what I needed and they have moved on from the chassis system that I currently have. That is great they are making new and innovating ideas for chassis. MDT is not to blame at all they just could not offer a solution to a problem that I had created other than buy our new chassis. Which I will and will sale to older system.

I'm quite interested in the MDT LSS Gen 3 that was unveiled at the SHOT Show this year for a build I'm working on right now. They suggested springtime, but I'm wondering if anyone has any information on when it would be released? Trying to decide whether I should wait or take another way.
