Hey guys I'm looking to buy some new mags for my new TL3 action. The Accurate mag that came with my Manners doesn't seem to work to well so I want to try something else. I know the ARC mags have shorter feed lips to help in CRF actions but they also have a bad reputation for not running if they get the smallest amount of dust/dirt in them. So I'm looking at trying the MDT mags but was curious what the length of the feed lips is. If anyone has some could you measure them for me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’m running mdt mags in a tl3 and whiskey 3 chassis. and it’s feeding flawlessly with no tweaking of the feed lips on my part. I will say running 10 rounds in the 12 round mag feels smoother for the first two or three rounds simply due to less tension pushing up on the feed lips. Although in a match/on the clock it’s not as noticeable.

I’m running the MDT 12 round 6.5 CM metal mags in my TL3 (AW Cut) with a KRG Bravo stock..... Works fantastic! Also the MDT 10 round poly 223 mag works just as well in the Bravo & TL3 when I switch the bolt head and barrel to the 223 caliber.

also buy the way the 5 & 10 round poly Magpul 308 mags AICS (for the 6.5 CM) run fantastic as well in the Bravo and TL3

hope this helps!
