MDT scope base question

Random question but does anyone know what material MDT uses for their scope base screws?

Most screws are steel, aluminum stretches too much and titanium can gall. Not sure if it is Stainless ( probably) or carbon ( less likely).

I suspect stainless. They don't seem to take bluing. Also hard to grind but that might be the wheel I'm using.

yeah if they don’t take bluing them Stainless. I just use my dremel with with a cutoff wheel to shorten action screws. I will followup with a course sanding drum to clean them up, the stainless is tough to grind.
