Methods of rifling

I am trying to learn more about rifling and it was brought up in another post that a gentleman preferred cut rifling rather than button rifling. I have tried to took this up on different websites including Wikipedia but have learned there are even more ways to create the rifling in a barrel than those two. I would like any ones opinion about which they think is better and any information you can give me to help educate myself. Thank you, TDH

Here is a great link. I originally posted on another website, but got this link for to Hide. It is based on AR-15 barrels, but still should apply to all others.
