Can anyone point me to one? I found one guy through a PA based law-office (prince something) and he said the STARTING price for an NFA trust would be $750!! I'm NOT paying that!

Anyone point me in the right direction?

Okay, questions:
First, are you required to get approval from the ATF before transporting suppressors (ONLY suppressors, not SBR or something like that) to another state in-which they are legal?

Second, can all trustee's and beneficiary's have independent possession of the suppressor?

Third, what is a reasonable cost to have a trust set-up?

Fourth, lets say I ordered a suppressor today and I'm in the process of setting up my trust. Could it be ordered in my name then the form 4 done on my trust or does the name on the order have to be the name on the form 4? In other words, to put it in a trust does it need to be ordered BY the trust instead of myself?

That's all I got for now! Thanks guys!

My guy did it for $250 with a two day turn around. Randall Baad specializes in NFA trusts. He is down here in FL, but it sure beats $750.

Order your can now. The FM 3 process is slowed down right now, so by time you get it to your dealer you will have plenty of time to get that worked out.

Go to the Michigan Gun Owners forum, you will have to register to be able to view all of the forum. There are 2 lawyers in state doing the trust's. They are advertising in the "Commercial Dealers" section. Both are around $350. There are other choices but you will need to decide what works for you.

I believe to transport a supressor you do not need to inform ATF of the trip. I think that is for MG's etc. Other may help out here.

Reasonable cost for a trust is determined by your wallet.

Order your supressor ASAP. Get your trust done while waiting. If you are in a hurry than this Class 3 stuff is going to be hard to handle. If you get things going now I would guess you may have your supressor by April next year.

Re: Michigan NFA trust attorney And general Trust Q/A

Thanks John!! I joined and did a quick look through the forums and immediately found a guy! Shot him an email and hopefully I can get this going!

I'd found another guy for $600, but $300-$400 beats the snot out of that!
