Mid 90s Eagle Arms EA-15 what uppers will fit?

Re: Mid 90s Eagle Arms EA-15 what uppers will fit?

I'm pretty sure any upper designed for a standard AR-15 lower receiver will work. They are all the same. If you were going to step up to a Large Receiver (AR-10, LAR-8, LR-308, etc.) only then do you have to worry about brand compatibility.

Eagle Arms lowers are spec lowers (made by Armalite...who sold stripped and complete lowers under the Eagle Arms brand for a period of time when it refused to sell the Armalite branded lowers without the purchase of a complete rifle...same lowers, different roll mark).

You should be able to put any AR-15 compatible upper (incl. a 6.8 SPC) onto your lower without any issues.

Eagle Arms was located in Coal Valley, IL. (a few miles from Geneseo based Armalite)

The early ones (Coal Valley)were sold as complete rifles while the later ones (Geneseo)were sold via Armalite as stripped lowers or possibly as completes without the lifetime warranty.

Mine works fine with 3 out of 4 RRA Uppers that I have tried it with. One is just too tight to make it work.

So...you can usually (but not always!) place any AR-15 based upper on it

That's just tolerance stacking though, not any design difference.
