Gunsmithing Mid-length gas dimentions

Need to know what the length is on a middy ar gas system is. Form end of barrel extension to gas block shoulder.

Front or back end of bbl extension?

From the front of the extension to the gas block shoulder is 7-1/4".

From the rear of the extension to the gas block shoulder is 7-7/8"

Gas tube is 9-3/4" OAL

Do you mean 7 3/8?

7/8 does not come out anywhere.

I just measured it again to make sure.

7-7/8"

This is from the gas block shoulder to the rear-most edge of the bbl extension (where the feed ramps begin).
