IMO they are OK for $20-25. They wear out but, what do you expect for $25.
The only negative is the side you lay on is black, which in the summer time gets HOT. Here in SCal when it's already +100F in the summer, I just lay on the dirt..........
Yep agree with both statements above! I scored mine when it was on sale and for that kind of money, it sure beats laying in the dirt. But buffybuster is correct, doesn't even have to be in the summertime, I used mine last month on a bright sunny day, went to lay back on it after a lunch break and the thing was HOT! Next time I will fold it in half on itself to help with the heat if taking an extended break.
Got one for my son for Christmas a while back and we both like it. My existing is a four-fold and heavier, from some place in Israel.
The only caution is that the hold-rolled straps are something like polypropylene and they doe NOT resist UV. Don't leave it in the back of the truck in the sun for a week or they will disintegrate.
I'm half done sewing in some replacement gen-u-ine nylon straps to hold it rolled up.
