Mighty Armory 223 Die ?

I'm doing a purging of all my reloading stuff to clean out all the stuff I don't need to upgrade to some nicer stuff and came across the Mighty Armory 223 sizing die and wondered if anyone has an experience with them or have any more info then the websites does on it ?

They make a bunch of decappers and then a 223 sizing die. I think you'll be hard pressed to find much info on the size here

I'm in the same boat with this. I am going to puller the trigger on their 6.5 CM die to use I my Dillon 650. I spoke to the owner Wayne about the dies. I'm excited to speed up this portion of brass preparation. There are FL sizing dies that are excellent in a single stage press, however are too long in a 650

Im producing superb results on the bench anf not alot of time doing so.

I have been communicating back and forth with Wayne for a couple of days and had already decided to pull the trigger on one.
This will eliminate 300 pulls of the handle for every 100 cartridges I produce, and from all my research, yield at least identical results. That right there is worth the price of admission.

Use a Powder die with Area 419 funnel drop on a FX120I and you can save all the time .
Not sure how youre trimming but Im using a Henderson Precision tri trim, LEDGIT!!!!

I’ve reloaded my Alpha 6.5CM brass exactly 10 times with my current setup, which is Redding body die for shoulder bump, Redding Comp bushing die with .288” bushing for neck size, and then a 21st Century .262” mandrel die. This brass hasn’t grown a .001” in ten firings, which I find amazing. I observed the same thing with my first batch of Alpha when I stared with these dies.
Wayne was kind enough to share the specs of his die, and guess what they are. .288” neck size with a .262” expander!

How much neck tension does the die(s) leave you with?

Saw this thread a couple of weeks ago and went on the M/A website and watched a few videos. I decided to buy the 223 F/L die. It was delivered today. I set it up and adjusted the die to F/L size to SAAMI minimum @ the Datum. Very smooth, especially when lowering the ram with the tapered sizer going through the neck. I bought a couple of extra decapping pins.

I resized a couple of dozen cases some Speer nickel and Remington commercial. The Speer don't shoulder bump by a thousandth or two over the brass cases.

This is a nice die. Take a look at Wayne's video and see how these dies are designed. The expander measured .222".

If this die loads as expected with low runout, I'll probably buy the 308 die.

I think they have a winner here.

The 223 die is working perfectly, no issues. I did buy the 308 die a few weeks later, but I did have a couple of issues with it. Wayne took care of me, but I did have to send it back to him for a skim.

You can read about the issues in this thread, post # 50. These dies are great dies.

Mighty Armory Full length sizing die

Has anyone used their full length sizing die? I'm needin a new sizing die for my 6.5 creedmoor gasser. These are somewhat new and I'm curious if anyone has used their dies, including their universal decapper for lapua small primer pocket brass Thanks
