Hi all,
I'm just curious as to what products are available in terms of iron sights with mil/moa adjustments on them which can be used out to say 1000 metres/yards for centrefire cartridges? To my limited knowledge, this would be precluded with competition target sights because of the limited range in available travel?
The M24 SWS iron sight set-up is an example but I believe these aren't made anymore.
Is there anything like the old military sights but that isn't cartridge specific and that can be mounted to picatinny rail?

I'd be very interested to see what the results are because I found nothing really from my searches.

Cheers!

Thanks @smoothy8500
Would it have enough MOA adjustment to go from 100 yards to 1000 yards without re-zeroing?
Thanks
Some may, but usually the front sight is adjusted for elevation. However, my Warner sight has 66 MOA elevation possible. Phoenix Precision and PNW have up to 70 MOA also. Not sure what the Centra is capable of. The old Redfield International sights have enough too.

I don't think there have been any mil-radian centerfire iron sights made in quite a while (Armalite's M16A2 iron sight was the only one that comes to mind) -- unless you want to consider a rimfire sight (perhaps Anschutz and Gehmann), which may or may not take centerfire recoil.

PWA and Centra both made 1/4 MOA click Picatinny-rail sights for highpower rifle.
