Mil adjusted iron sights?

Re: Mil adjusted iron sights?

USA target competition has its "legacy" units...

If the target rings are measured in MOA, it makes sense to use MOA for sights.

Now, for precision tactical shooting it would make a lot of sense to have back up iron sights with mil corrections to match the mil tables, mil/mil scope, and mil reticle spotting scope.

Re: Mil adjusted iron sights?

they do make them as I have seen them on 2 european rifles. I do not remember who made them however. I have never been able to find any for sale though. They were marked 1cm at 100m. I thought they may have been Parker Hale.

Re: Mil adjusted iron sights?

the biggest problem with iron sites is if you lengthen or reduce the sifht radius you will actualy change from Moa to IPHY then if you use 1/3 moa clicks then you can adjust the sight radius to match 1/10 mill clicks but you can get euro sights in mills but you MUST then match the correct sight radius
