Great match today. We could not have asked for better weather.

It was fun to get out and see some different target presentations. None of the targets were impossible to hit, although seeing the prairie dog targets without glass was tough. When the berm work is completed that is going to be a kick ass range.

I was happy with my Vudoo. It ran like a champ and put some hurting on the 200 meter targets. I was leery of the wind reading target and if that little bullet would have enough oomph to spin it, but it worked as advertised. I already ordered one for the Pueblo PRS Matches.

The next time I come up I will bring some spare 22 rifles so the Range Officers can also shoot the match.

Thanks for putting it on Roy, thanks to the ROs that worked it and thanks to Mile High for sponsoring it.

The match was a lot of fun. Roy and crew put a lot of time and effort (a really lot) and it showed. The stages were well designed and super entertaining. They had a couple of target set ups I’d not seen before that were fun and challenging. I especially enjoyed the hostage target. On the long one, I was thinking it would be fun if a hit on the hostage counted as a negative point. I was lucky never hit the hostage, but if I'd been worried about it it would have changed how aggressively I went after the bad guy.

The range was very nice. Flush toilets and running water were a real change of pace from the usual.

Organization was good, and the match ran smoothly. There were some target failures due to the awesome kinetic energy of .22 target ammo, but that’s just sorting out what works and what doesn’t.

I hope this match catches on. It seems like a super group of guys.

Thanks to Roy, all the ROs, and to Mile High for sponsoring the day!

Tim, great suggestion on the -1 point for hitting the 200 yard hostage ... definitely a challenging target especially in the wind. I am determined to get the mover target sorted out ... everyone liked it when it actually worked. 3 color prairie dog camo is the rage and I will figure out how to digi-camo them next time.

Thanks for the input and coming out.
