GPNVG is part of their anti-riot gear? I have no idea whether they are the police or the military but man, these guys get to play with some cool toys. This is happening in the capitol hills of South Korea where their president has declared martial law.

Yonhap News is saying that these are military. MPs of the ROK infantry. Supposedly civil police's duties had been immediately suspended upon declaration of martial law and the army garrisons were mobilized as 'home guard'. I don't think they were even issued live rounds. Martial law as of now has been lifted.
