It’s my main problem with the woke ideology, it has this incredible ability to override common sense and anything that resembles logic. I don’t know who this particular military civilian head is, but let’s look at this problem logically just for a moment.

1) The current generation and the previous generation are the two least physically active in our history. They have a drastically lower percentage that have engaged in sports or manual labor, and more than allot of them spend a insane amount of time playing games on a computer or game console. While this is an obvious benefit to drone operators, it’s a disaster for foot soldiers. It’s not just a physical problem, this group is also much more likely to be on some type of mood drug, and not to stereotype but their mental toughness in allot of cases is simply unsuitable for any job that has more pressure than operating a stapler.

2) The physically active group of these generations statically still come from small towns and rural areas. The woke agenda is pure poison in trying to recruit from this demographic, and it’s the only demographic that the majority have the required physical skills and have some degree of mental toughness, there are no safe spaces in rural areas, and the hay either gets bailed or it doesn’t, there isn’t a prize for participation. Not only that but these kids in allot of cases will do what their parents say, and when these parents see a drag show on a military base in the news on a flier the answer when a recruiter stops by will simply be get off my property if it comes up.

3) Our military is transforming on purpose amazingly to the concept that we will always have such a technological advantage that the days of unsightly close quarters combat are over never to happen again. This is like the poker expression all in works every time but once, but that once really does suck. It’s not only in troops this change is occurring, but in equipment. They are currently changing the ground vehicles and armor to electric power which could very well be one of the dumbest military equipment choices in history.

This bureaucrat is basically getting exactly what she is asking for, the problem isn’t the results but her starting premise, a premise so misguided it’s only explanation is the woke effect.

Joe just announced it, but its been an avenue to citizenship for a long time.

My university Spanish Prof. came here in the early 40's from Merida Mexico. War broke out and he signed up and got his citizenship. That Mexican earned it. Rode a glider loaded with equipment, fought in the Bulge, then made a career. Went to Korea and Viet Nam. told me he decided to teach language because he saw the horror when communications and reason failed.

He was barely 5'5" feet tall but one of the biggest men I've known.

Within last 8 months, my unit lost 1xE9, 3xE8s, 2xE7s - they all have put in their retirement packets despite having options to continue to serve with possible promotion opportunities.

Units are losing Soldiers to AWOL and for failing drug tests. It's a pandemic. My state leads the nation in positive drug testing.

Behind closed doors, they all got out because they got tired of new generation of soft soldiers who are being catered to and still whine. Those Senior NCOs were walking on eggshells because no one wanted to risk losing their retirement in case someone complained to IG.

All of their packets indicated they're getting out because of "civilian career" "family" because no one wanted to rock the boat with any anti woke reasoning. At some you're just trying to make it to retirement and chances of speaking out against what's being pushed down makes you a target.

I don't know how bad this shit is on the Active Duty side, coming from a Guard, we feel each drill weekend is like a mental health/therapy/emotional support weekend for younger soldiers.

Onslaught of climate surveys and unit risk surveys only adds to the fire and with civilians manning all the EO & SHARP offices which have exploded in numbers, causes for everyone to have some sort of opportunity to make a complaint or bring up their issues to spotlight.

Maybe that's a good thing. But if your outfit is 50, and 11 out of those under the age of 30 have thought of suicide, and out of those 11, 3 actually made a plan than the statistics are scary (almost all of those 11 have not been deployed).

The woke agenda is definitely being pushed down to unit level, denying that it's happening is being far disconnected from the reality of what's taking place.

Recruiters are dealing with generation which switches jobs every week because "vibe was off" and they're expecting them to commit for 2/4/6 years?

Kids from metropolitan areas are being thaught that their country is evil & racist and not worth fighting for?

I explained I lost my confidence in the civilian and military leaders based on two things - complete unaccountability of 20 years of war in Afghanistan, the disastrous "withdrawal" and the DoD mandated vaccinations, which went away after political pressure when passing the next NDAA.

Lots of solid service members left the organization because they didn't take the jab, those of us were threatened to lose everything we have worked for if we didn't get it. Those of us who did take it, now have regrets as it's not mandatory anymore. Betrayal at it's finest.

In my population of 2000 gun bearers it's was over 300 initially resisting. Three hundred saying "No!" Would have stopped it right fucking there.

Of that 300 some 150 filed for exemption based on sincere and longheld beliefs. 150 is an entire Academy class it likely would have stopped this shit right there.

When the blanket denials came out some maintained their integrity and resigned citing the mandate. The majority went to Target, paid full price for tuckable underwear than went to get their shots. They have absolutely no credibility having perjured themselves about their sincere and longheld beliefs yet they are credible police officers. BUT, on what you said, you are 100% correct. The left wants to Nationalize the police. You can see that in other corrupt sates around the world. It is easier for cops to do bad things to people they do not know in areas they have no ties to. That is why the Left HATES most of the Sheriffs in the US. They are elected by their people and serve their people. By Nationalize the police force, the left can impose harsher police actions in areas they want.

This is also why they are criminalizing self-defense.
