Hey guys...
we're assembling Chey-tac rifles from years, using Stiller Tac-408 actions and Krieger barrels; fully satisfied with accuracy but using a quite mighty barrel contour (i.e. 1.450" breech x 3", then straight taper to 1" at 30"), with XLR chassis or McM A5 stock, final weight is about 18.5 lbs.. not a feather for sure ...
In your opinion, Sirs, what would be the slimmest contour you suggest for a repaeater Chey-tac rifle, without loosing too much stiffness/accuracy?...
Thanks in advance for your help and time.
