that's exactly why i am asking about it. i have tried to call multiple times but they never pick up the phone.

Shop hours are 10AM-6PM Tues through Fri, maybe they weren't in yet. Hell, email them and tell them you are interested in booking a group.

I would be interested to know if they have open shoots or a membership type of thing. There website pretty much sucks for getting info.

haha, me too.

I talked to Jim, seemed like a cool guy. I got the same info out of him (not open to public, not sure when or if, and they are just using it for classes now).

I got on the email list for their IPDA shoots. When I start getting emails, I will badger the guy (Greg Sweringin) about using the rifle range! Never know, have to see what happens.

I have been buy their store several times. Many of the times it was closed. Seen a couple guys in there but they never seemed to be more than a general sales guy.

I was hoping I would run into one of the guys listed in the staff.

I got nearly the same story about the range about 1 year ago. I hope I am understating things but appears to have grand plans but I've yet to be impressed. Anyway I just wana do some shooting and possibly get a little instruction.

Then again I am only a lowly citizen, not a LEO or SWAT, so may be I'm not in the cool club.

Being only about 2.5 hours from KC, they could really get some good stuff going with a range with that kind of reach, they could run F-class comps, sniper comps, a lot of different things. Not sure what their business model is, but after reading some of the comments on here, i'm not sure they know what the heck they are doing, which is a shame. If you have a 2000m range in the midwest, and within' a few hours drive of 3 major cities in Missouri, if you have even a little bit of business saviness, you could really do something great with that.

I have an email into them. If I can arrange it, would everyone be interested in a group class or range day (hopefully)?

I will keep everyone updated if I hear back from them.

From what I could gather, I think the biggest thing the owner is worried about is liability. I guess he thinks LEOs are not as much of a liability issue as civies.

Hi Everyone,
I'm Jim,yep the "Cool" Jim.

As of now the range isn't open to the public except on the first saturday of the month when we have our IDPA shoots.
If anyone has questions please feel free to PM me.The shop has spotty hours now as some revamping is taking place.
Hopefully we'll be open more consistant hours in the future.
