MK11 MOD 0 Build

Howdy,

I'm looking for a MK11 barrel, gas block, FF RAS, and front sight. Other than Gunbroker, does anyone have any recommendations and/or resources for these parts? Any help would be tremendously appreciated. Thank you!

Have you called KAC directly, Presample Depot, Operation Parts, NS Defense and/or Nefarious Arms? These folks may have one or more of those parts but my guess is that they wont however they’re the most well known. They’re may be others. @longshot2000 may also have something in stock.

Assuming you are trying to run the Mk11 suppressor, the only one ive seen for sale in months is on GB for like 10k, lol.

Lastly, if you do find a barrel and it’s already drilled for the gas block taper pins you may need to either find an undrilled gas block or modify a used one.

Do you already have an SR25 upper and lower receiver?

Could you provide more detail here re the gas block comment? Are you thinking a used gas block won't marry with an old barrel or the pin holes may be off? Sorry, I want to make sure I'm understanding. Additionally, Do the MK11 and M110 use the same block?

The pin bore alignment may be off to a degree between gas block and barrel. This was told to me by Charlie at Operation Parts, certified KAC armorer. Also, both use a “double high” gas block but the M110’s suppressor docking/anchor pin is at 7 oclock while the Mk11’s is at 6 oclock

Here’s the underside of my Mk11’s gas block. Im almost positive the same block (at least footprint wise) is used on the M110. There are two pin placement locations; the M110 would need that pin in the 7oclock position but otherwise its the same block.

The blocks have cosmetic differences between the two. The m110 block has the center of the lower rail cut out like your photo above, along with the two horizontal scallops cut out between the gas tube and barrel on each side. A mk11 block is all solid and filled in in these areas. Only other variation is the mk11 mod 1, which used the mk11 block but with the 7 o’clock pin for the m110 suppressor...
