Mk13 Mod5+ build

I figured I’d start a thread for my newest and most loved build I’ve done. I’m still waiting for parts but here’s what I got so far. I’ve always been a retro mod kind of guy rather than numbers matching. So this build will be in the similar vein. I started off purchasing a half built deployment kit on GunBroker and I’ve slowly been outfitting the rifle. First part that has come in was my Sawtooth Rifles Dependabilt arca rail as well as the trigger tech diamond trigger. I’m waiting on the 27” 1:10 5R M24 barrel to come in from Preferred Barrel Blanks as well as the Terminus Zeus QC action. I’m going with Badger rings to fit my 6-30 Primary Arms Plx Athena BPR scope. Eventually I also plan to throw an Accu Tac FC5 bipod on it as well. I can’t wait till I can actually start hand loading some ammo for this thing.

Thanks man will do. Only things I'm waiting for now is the barrel and the action. I was thinking about getting them cerakoted AI Dark Earth.

Thanks man. I just got the chassis back after having it milled out to fit the massive recoil lug in my Terminus Zeus action. I will be mounting the scope tonight and posting pics.

Chassis has been modified and the action and scope are mounted. Now it's just a waiting game for the barrel. Anyone wanna buy a kidney so I can afford a PVS-30?

So you’re just using an AICS 2.0, nothing else that’s even close to an actual MK13 mod5…. And you’re calling it a mk13 mod 5?

I mean, there’s nothing MK13 about it. The scope, the mount, the action, the trigger, the bipod, etc. that’s like calling your Ford Focus a Ferrari because they have the same tires.

Well im not offended lmao, my stiller action should here in a couple weeks. Form 4 for my mk11 hopefully a month or 2. But i guess since im putting a atacr 7-35 on it, it wont be correct either LMAO

Yeah, I bet putting a Primary Arms scope on it that you spent all that. You’re just trying to recover after being called out. Lmao. I’ll believe it when I see it. Good luck getting a stiller action, since they just sold to another company and adjusted lead times to 30+ weeks. Lmao. Pic is what a real mk13 mod 5 looks like while getting used.

Lol. Reggie isn’t even quoting lead times, since Red Bull has been trying to get them to adopt a variance to make them Garland marked. There’s a guy on the MK13 group that’s at 13 months and counting, so no, you’re not even anywhere close.
