Rifle Scopes Mk4 rings...quick help

A bunch of goodies showed up today including 3 new LTR's and 4.5-14x50mm Mk4's. The problem is that the box also included SUPER HIGH Mk4 Rings to connect them to the Mk4 bases. Obviously this is a no-go.

Leupold's mounting chart shows the 30mm High Rings are correct for this scope on the Mk4 base. My math says that the Medium will be closer to correct, but probably too close for comfort with the flip covers installed.

What say the peanut gallery?

No comments on the brand of hardware please. I would much rather have gone with Seekins and USO, but I don't get to make those decisions and I just need to put it together tomorrow.

Disregard, I just re-measured and the High rings will be needed to have enough adjustment for eye relief. The front of the objective bell and the base would have a disagreement with the Medium Rings.
