i was wondering how you can fgure out the range of somethng in MOA i can do it in mills

(size of the target in inches) * 95.5 / stadia covered = range in yards

Example: 12" plate * 95.5 = 1146
1146 / 2.5 stadia = 458.4 yards

If you have an IPHY reticle the math is the same except multiply by 100.

If you have a milradian retical multipy by 27.778.
