Rifle Scopes ModZero

Or I can just run a Bobro mount and keep my zero info in the data book... He puts a lot of faith in the QD mounts themselves returning to zero, and we know that isn't always the case. $400+ spent on a QD mount + his rail = a chance it might not even work because your mount doesn't work great.

I like the idea, but not at his price point. He needs to be well under $100, but I am afraid he would lose his precision then.

I actually like the idea. $225 isn't too bad compared to the cost of a new scope. I'm envisioning one of these for every rifle, and then the optic gets moved between them all.

Using a quality one piece mount like a NF unimount or Geissele has yielded good return to zero results for me.

I don't quite trust this for a rifle that will get heavy use but I have a few guns that only get shot occasionally that could benefit from sharing an optic.

Color or me interested.

Not sure I want to be the guinea pig on this one though as I don't know how robust the mounts are.

If you know they give good return to zero, why not record the zero shift and just dial? For $230, I would rather stick to the little note inside my case saying "zeroed for 6.5CM, .2mil left for .300wm."

Ok, so my example is my switch barrel setup but the rifle scope is the same situation. lol I did that with a LaRue between a 5.56 and 6.5 Grendel upper for a year.
