Is there a market for Tungsten Bullets in the United States?
Are they illegal in every state?
Does the added density in theory make for a better long range cartridge due to density?
These types of bullets are legal in many Countries, but you do not see them too much.
Tungsten is 1.7 times more dense then lead.
So for example. If you take a 100gr 6mm lead and copper bullet and times it by about 1.6 or 1.5 to account for the Copper density offset, would a 150 or 160gr bullet be a good thing?
Would the transonic range increase from cartridge to cartridge? Would the b.c. change and why? Would you want it jacketed or a moly coated solid for concentricity and circularity?
I cannot find much online.
