While seeing all the recent interest in the air rifle side of shooting, that got me to looking at the competitions that we have here for the .22's. This got me to wondering if people would be willing to shoot another match for just air guns? Possibly in both the .177 and the .22 cal ( if we can get enough people to shoot for each ), and have the same targets and rules as the .22 matches.

I know I would love to do with with open sights with the FWB 300s and then shoot the .22 match with my PWS T3 rifle.

I just wanted to check and see before I printed off the targets and shot them with my air rilfe. Didn't want to step on anyones toes or anything with the competition.

i'm on board with that. i don't mind some trigger time in the back yard, and a reason to make it more interesting, and conserve 22lr ammo for reality matches i shoot.

if you guys are ok with it, do you think 10 & 25 yards is ok for short range, then maybe 50 & 75 yards will be long range?

use the TRC target at 25Y and the 4P targets at 10Y?

100 yd targets at 50 and 200 yard at 75?

PCP, Co2, & other (springer, nitro breakbarrels, side and underlevers)?

IMO good idea woogie man. chances are i'll stink just as much at the AR comps :)

Was thinking the same for classes

PCP, CO2, spring
Then have those broken down to scoped, and un-scoped
Have the same rules for the hunter class and what not, just with air guns.
Can have similar targets, just have them at half size or quarter size. If the numbers get to small to see, can always just make shapes or what not that need to be shot.
Caliber doesn't really matter, unless you would want to break it down to the .177, .22, and others. Though I have a feeling that most people here will have either of those two.
