Mosin xlr sytle stocks?

This is something that popped into my head when looking at some modified Mosin Nagants, anyways i was looking at stocks use and sold for the Mosin and I noticed there doesn't seem to be any milled ones like the XLR stock out there for the Mosin.
So i'm wondering are there really no stocks options like that for the Mosin Nagant? If so why, because from what I can see the mosin's design wouldn't prevent such a stock design from working as long as you get the sizing and tolerances of it right.

I've only seen a few and they were one-offs made by their owners. There are a couple of issues, I believe, in this idea. First, most people who own Mosins have them because they're cheap and are not willing/able to spend the kind of money that it would take to produce such a stock. Therefore, you have a very small market that would not likely support the R&D and production of such an item. Second, there are some issues that are inherent in the design that would need to be addressed to actually make them shoot. The first would be the barrel flex/tension issue and the next would be a solid method of mounting a quality optic. After that, you still have the rimmed cartridge/magazine issues. I know Pro Mag's Archangel stock addresses some of this, but that's probably the closest thing that we'll see in a "production" stock. Just my opinions, though.

Do one of you guys happen to have a detailed blueprint for the mosin nagant, which ever version is the most common and it's shows all the measurements and if possible tolerances to. I want to look into this myself, because I'm interested enough to see what it would take to make such a stock for the mosin nagant.
Also those cbrps stocks i've seen before and personally the look of them i don't like they seem far to bulky for what they are, but I do like how they are pretty much just drop in and assemble type stocks which is always a plus.

Look up the pro-mag unit that is to be released the middle of this month. Its getting decent reviews it seems, the guys over at AKfiles are all over this thing.

FAR too much dimensional variation...many decades of production, and they weren't made on CNC's back in the day.
It would be impossible to make a chassis to fit them, other than a one-off.

Anyone that advertises MN stocks as "drop-in fit" are lying, or their stocks are as loose as a two dollar ho. I make/sell stocks for the Mosin-Nagant- they must be left proud, particularly in the tang area.

I agree to much variation to make a generic modular that fits right. If you decide on wood I just saw Gorilla gunworks has a laminated Anshutz style prone stock and after I called them he said that he could cut the barrel channel for HB or just leave steps out so I could finish the way I wanted.

Boyds makes a decent stock for about $100... I have a sporterized m/n with their thumbhole stock. It does require some fitting due to the wide variations mentioned, but if your a " tinkerer" , its just part of the fun.

Just dropped a Finn M39 into an Archangel. Definite improvement in ergonomics. Had issues with the detachable mag clearing the Timney trigger- a little dremmel work fixed that. Adjustable length of pull and adjustable cheek piece an absolute plus.

Mallrat- My son told me he put 60rds of Winchester 180gr thru it with two failure to feeds, but admitted it was his error(not cycling bolt fully to the rear).
