I've had this around for a while now but it sits in my safe and I never seem to actually get it out and shoot it. My understanding is that these were made from 1938-41 with the focus of being a training rifle for the US military and the leftovers were sold commercially. Mine is one of the commercial ones so it isn't marked US Property like some of them are.
It comes with 2 magazines (had the buy the spare off ebay for like $60). What you see is what you get on this one. Outstanding trigger, fun gun to shoot and have in the safe.
Looking on gunbroker they seemed to be priced from $400-625 depending on the exact rifle. That being said, I'll take $425 shipped with the simmons scope included on there and the two magazines. If you really don't want the scope I will do $400 without the scope.
Trades:
- 30 cal 1:9 twist sendero or heavier barrel blank
- 7mm 1:8 or 8.5 sendero or heavier barrel blank
- 6mm 1:7 or 1:7.5 sendero or heavier barrel blank
- 1/2x28 .224 self timing muzzle brake. Need something thick like the hellfire because it's on a 16.5" MTU
- triway cutter for 308 based cartridges (specifically 6mm creed)
