Alright I know it is getting close to turkey season and it is almost all some of us can think about. I've been hunting the last couple years with an older mossberg crown grade and while it is a decent shotty, I would really like to have a dedicated turkey gun. Something I can leave over a register for the night after a little morning dew or light rain and not freak out about that it might get a little rust spot. I'm thinking that the coating they put on them must resist rust and protect the exterior of the gun. The turkey thug has most of the features I am looking for in a turkey gun, pistol grip, shorter barrel, camo'd, rail and decent bead. The LPA trigger also looks interesting. To be clear I'm looking at the 45229 model. Anyone have any experience with this model?
