    @sirhrmechanic

    Ever rode the Himalayas?

    Got a friend that is thinking of this trip....

    500CC Royal Enfields are a neat bike, perhaps perfectly suited for getting around Mumbai and at the .5 liter capacity maybe over horse powered in the congested city.

    But......

    I figure a trip through the Himalayan passes would be worth a BMW tour unit but hey if you want adventure.

    The operation is a charity.

    Wealthy Indian businessman runs three trips a year with proceeds going to disadvantaged Indian kids......kinf of like @TheHorta with underpowered city bikes rather than NVGS.

    I'd love to do the Himilayas and Vietnam and India. VN is supposed to be an incredible destination!

    "If" the world doesn't come to an end, my plan next few years is to get the Trans-Labrador done. THen the Lincoln Highway and the Trans-Alaska also taking the coastal ferry out to Kodiak and maybe even Attu or Kiska. From there... ship to Australia/NZ. And if that's not enough... Vietnam, India. That's 10 years right there.

    But 10 years from now we might be lucky to have houses with electricity.

    So we'll just have to see! But that looks awesome.

    BTW, there is also a cool tour for motorcycling in Israel. I have always wanted to go back there as a tourist. So much history. Doing it on a bike would be amazing!
