Check out the legalities of each state you pass through and your destination.
But since you're midwest, and the entire midwest is safe (sans the POTUS state, because he ruined it with dipshit programs and laws).
Just drop a line to the BATFE and let them know you've changed addresses.

I'm going to have to mail mine because of Canada, unless I fly it up there.
