They don’t. He might have got it confused with the Gray Ops short/long version

MPA makes two flat versions of their magwell plates:

They just call them "mag blocker" and "hook" instead of the more layman's "long" and "short"

Not to derail but they aren’t the same thing at all. The hook is oriented forward. It isn’t flat the way the blocker is. The one on the left is closer to a short version but pushes out too far from the mag well. I’d love for MPA to make a blocker that’s an inch or 2 shorter.
