Has anyone tried the combo of an XLR Element with the MPA grip? I wasn't sure if it would require minor fitting or be a complete no-go due to the MPA's right side extended area and I couldn't find a good pic of the 2 together. Also, does anyone know of a similar completely vertical pistol grip like the MPA?

I’ve got one on my Evo, works just fine. I like the grip, it’s better than the normal AR grips most people use. I would assume that it would work just fine on an Element as well?

It will fit on the element but the thumb shelf does not work near as well as there is no cut out in the chassis so you lose a good bit of the functionality of the grip design. MPA pic below

the one I have came with the chassis when I purchased it. I will say that it's probably not something that I ever would have bought for myself, but I do like it quite a bit. I have wondered why the thumb shelf didn't seem to thumb shelf as much as you would think. Makes a lot more sense after looking at the picture above.

With that being said, I still like it on the XLR. I like the grip angle, and the slight swell under the trigger finger. It is very easy to put slight backward pressure on the grip with the bottom 3 fingers and still focus on a clean trigger pull. I won't be replacing mine any time soon.

I like the fill in the bag, and really like the wedge shape as it works well with that stock. I am not crazy about having the straps since I only use it as a rear bag, and it's just a tiny bit too short if I'm having to shoot with the bipod legs extended all the way.
